Phalanx is a fitting end to the saga, written with consummate style and fantastic action sequences. It is highly recommended that you read the rest of the series but anyone can pick this book up and still enjoy it without knowing the slightest bit about the Soul Drinkers, for those who have been following the saga the first half may seem a 4/5.   Written by New York Times best-selling author Scott Sigler, the Aliens: Phalanx fits quite easily into this niche. The xenomorphs appear in the story he has created but they are just a part of the general construction of the novel, a character that appears periodically but is not the central or main cog in the machine Sigler has built for his book. Title: Aliens Phalanx Author: Scott Sigler Genre: Sci-Fi/ Horror Publisher: Titan Books Release Date: February, Synopsis: Ataegina was an isolated world of medieval castles, varied cultures, and conquests, vibrant until the demons rose and spread relentless destruction. Swarms of lethal creatures with black husks, murderous claws, barbed tails and dreaded “tooth .
